PED Editor Tutorial (How To Use the PED Section in the GTA Save Editor)

Welcome to the PED Editor Tutorial!

Today I’ll be showing you the basic functionality of the PED section in the GTA Save Editor!

This is done in the Director mode using two pieces of computer software:

1. The Save Wizard for PS4 Max (PC/Mac)
2. The GTA Save Editor Installer (PC Only)

Let’s jump right into the tutorial!

What is the PED Editor?

There has been a lot of speculation and confusion surrounding the PED editor and what it does.

The PED editor is found within the GTA Save Editor and is not a standalone piece of software. It is used to add custom outfit mods to Story mode characters only.

The PED section works like the shortlist section but has much more updated outfit components.

For this reason and this reason alone, the GTA Save Wizard community has been dead set in using these PED components online.

The possibilities in PED Editor will leave even the most seasoned Outfit Aficionado salivating!

Today we’ll be creating the sample outfit below using the PED editor.

PED EDITOR Tutorial

At this point, you should have read the GTA Save Editor tutorial. If you haven’t, do so now.

Before you can access the PED editor, you must create an account on the X3T Infinity website.

It can take a few hours before you are able to sign into the PED Editor so be patient.

Select GTA V

Import your GTA save file

After registering on the X3T website, sign in using one of the two options

Click the hangar icon next to ‘Character’ (Icon does not appear if you don’t sign in)

Select the desired components as you would in the Shortlist section

Under ‘main’ select the desired model type & model

Mask

Skin/Hands

Legs

Shoes

Accessories

Torso 1

Crew/Logos

Torso 2

Hats

Set ‘mod enabled’ slider to on and save your file

Open Save Wizard and overwrite your current save file

Log into story mode and admire your masterpiece!

As you can see, anyone wearing these outfits in open lobby/freemode will definitely stand out!

As at this date, there is no public method to get PED outfits online but there are rumored ‘private’ methods.

One YouTuber, Smitty aka Ikinu has claimed to have the method which brings PED outfits online but has not divulged any information.
